Autism Spectrum Australia

Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect) is Australia’s largest national service provider for people on the autism spectrum. It oversees one of the largest autism-specific school programs in the world and offers support and evidence-informed solutions designed to improve the lives of people on the autism spectrum and their families.

Inefficient and confusing website

The Autism Spectrum Australia website was very confusing to navigate, heavily outdated and time-consuming for staff to manage. This limited access for people on the autism spectrum – as well as their carers and families – to valuable resources. It also hindered internal efficiency.

Accessibility-focused design

Yump was commissioned to deliver a full website transformation with the goal of creating a truly elegant, functional and accessible website – using autism-friendly principles. The goal was to make Autism Spectrum Australia’s existing rich library of educational content simpler for a wider audience to access.

Online donations skyrocketed by 85%

Because our work was extensively tested by participants on the autism spectrum, the new website was extremely well-received by people with autism and those who care for them. The revitalised donation pathway also increased online donations by 85% during the tax appeal campaign period, allowing for even more resources to be channelled into supporting the community.

Let's create something superb together.
