This August, Yump is making a bigger and better return to UX Australia, to present our case study on Thankyou’s “Track Your Impact” web-app. UX Australia is Australia’s premier user experience design conference which brings together digital and customer service practitioners for two days of hands-on workshops and two days of conference presentations, imparting practical skills, new techniques and troves of inspiration to explore ideas and acquire knowledge for our next projects.
“Designing for life-changing impact: From bottled water to ending world poverty” is an in-depth look at the unique Track Your Impact journey which lets Thankyou supporters track each purchased product to the specific village and project they are helping to fund in developing communities like Haiti, Sudan and Cambodia. TYI provides unparalleled transparency in the not-for-profit and charitable organisations sector where that ‘transparency’ is often lacking. It also drives connectivity between Thankyou and their supporters, and between supporters and their impact. This experience is only made possible by a multitude of online and offline operations including field partners on the ground, product suppliers, the Creative and Impact teams at Thankyou’s head office, the TYI back-end management system and the ground-breaking TYI web-app.
The newly redesigned TYI web-app was recently launched to acclaim, and it is our pleasure to have Thankyou’s Head of Creative Design, Wes, and our very own Creative Director, Yuan, tag-teaming and presenting this talk together at UX Australia 2016.

“Right from the outset of partnering together, the team at YUMP understood our mission, vision and the complexities of trying to achieve our ambitious goals in the given timeframe. We were able to work together on multiple projects with tight deadlines, with YUMP being incredibly flexible in hitting variable deliverables within the given time constraints. From the conception, refining and final packaging of our products, they were also able to offer great insights on the technical components as well as the visual, marketing and user experience aspects of each project.”
