Autism friendly design results in 85% increase in online donations
Our site transformation led to an elegant, functional and accessible platform that's now a vital resource for people in the autism community.
Inefficient and confusing website
The Autism Spectrum Australia website was very confusing to navigate, heavily outdated and time-consuming for staff to manage.
This limited access for people on the autism spectrum – as well as their carers and families – to valuable resources. It also hindered internal efficiency.
Accessibility-focused design
Yump was commissioned to deliver a full website transformation with the goal of creating a truly elegant, functional and accessible website – all while using autism-friendly principles.
The goal was to make autism spectrum Australia’s existing rich library of educational content simpler for a wider audience to access.
Online donations skyrocketed by 85%
Because our work was extensively tested by participants on the autism spectrum, the new website was extremely well-received by people with autism and those who care for them.
The revitalised donation pathway also increased online donations by 85% during the tax appeal campaign period, allowing for even more resources to be channelled into supporting the community.
