UX Design
Our UX designers in Melbourne help socially responsible organisations identify people’s changing needs. In turn, we create engaging user-centric solutions.

Reduce inefficiencies and solve user frustrations.
Not-for-profits and for-purpose organisations are constantly under pressure. They endeavour to minimise operational costs while maintaining funding streams. At Yump, we help clients overcome ongoing hurdles by identifying gaps and issues with their UX strategies, and delivering people-first outcomes that address real-world problems. Our work cuts to the heart of what users really need. In the end, our carefully crafted UX design empowers vulnerable and disadvantaged people – they can easily engage with the information and support they need to live better lives.

Information Architecture
We know that a poorly structured digital experience will negatively affect user satisfaction, enquiries and conversions. Drawing on insights gathered during user research, our analysts devise content architecture that prioritises key information to ensure it can be easily found by your most important customers.

Wireframing & Prototyping
We create wireframes for fast iteration based on co-design best practices and feedback. Before applying a look and feel to your solution, our UX designers create high-fidelity prototypes to test assumptions and refine the usability of key user workflows and pathways.

User Interface Design
To engage audiences, organisations have to appeal to a broad range of users with unique and overlapping needs. Equipped with a detailed understanding of your priority users and business requirements, our UX team will explore your creative brief together and develop the most inspiring ideas into visual designs.

Responsive Design
While our approach to design will always be informed by website analytics, designing for mobile is a must. For this reason, we create responsive designs that not only look great on desktop but provide an elegant experience for customers on tablets and mobile devices.

Design for Accessibility
Our vast accessibility knowledge comes from extensive experience working with NDIS-registered organisations in developing digital solutions for people with disabilities. We conduct regular accessibility testing of front-end templates to ensure compliance with WCAG guidelines at a level of your choice to ensure accessibility for all, regardless of ability.

Usability Testing
Usability testing is a critical part of our success. We have decades of experience conducting usability testing with a broad range of users, including customers, donors and supporters. Our approach varies depending on individual needs, but activities can range from in-depth interviews through to moderated user testing. We always observe user interactions and analyse feedback to arrive at clear, actionable recommendations.
